March Gladness!
Poetry in the Boro was highlighted in Dandelion Scribes, a publication based out of Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area in eastern Tennessee/Kentucky! There’s a lovely interview in there with PitB founder and former Murfreesboro poet laureate Kory Wells, and poems from PitB regulars Aaron Herschel Shapiro, Charles Thomas, Brandy Warren, hil hoover, Nallely Ortega Prater, Brian Seadorf, James Croal Jackson, Kory Wells, and me! You can read the whole feature here!
Also, besides being one of the featured poets in this issue of Dandelion Scribes, Nallely Ortega Prater was also on City Cast Nashville, speaking about immigrants and the Immigrants Write program at The Porch. Give it a listen! We’re proud of you, Nallely!
I think that’s about it for the month of March! Remember to check your library, school, or bookstore for reading and writing groups and events—there are many more than can be mentioned here! And if you have any events, news, or whatever else you’d like highlighted in this blog, lemme know by shooting me an email at taffetachimewrites@gmail.com. Thanks, and we’ll see ya next month!
