Rutherford Arts Alliance will host its first juried art show at the Murfreesboro City Hall Rotunda Gallery, 111 W. Vine St., from October 1 – November 15. A collaboration with the City of Murfreesboro, the Boro Art Crawl and the Discovery Center’s STEAM Festival, this event will showcase the rich creative culture of Rutherford County. Patrons will have a chance to meet the artists at a reception on October 11, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. during the Boro Art Crawl and STEAM Festival.
The show celebrates many art forms, from pottery and sculpture to painting and jewelry, from these local artists: Ray Kleinlein, Lisa Browning, Mira Patel, Susan Truex, Dorothy Stevens, Kaitlin Savage, Randy Richardson, Fiona Dowd, Justyna Kostkowska, Jennifer McGuire, Diane Stockard, Carol Berning, Abby Reish, Susan Carter, Gregory Lannon, Lee Hodges, Barbara Hodges, Ryan Frizzell, Lisa Sims, Mary Veazie, Sharon Trevathon, Ginny Togrye, Elizabeth Bray, Sally Govan, Robyn Rainwater.
