Celebrating our first mural festival in the media—and on a t-shirt!

Although the skies delivered a bit of rain, nothing stopped an enthusiastic group of local artists and community supporters from creating a new sunshine-bright mural in downtown Murfreesboro on a recent October weekend. Located on the east exterior wall of 117 E. Vine Street, home to Vine Street Market, the mural was designed by well-known Murfreesboro artist Norris Hall.

Numerous volunteers painted the mural over two days, following a day of planning.

We’re delighted that the mural is getting lots of media attention, including the cover of VIP Magazine (November 2019 issue). The mural has also been featured in The Daily News Journal, The Murfreesboro Post, Murfreesboro Voice, and on WGNS Radio.

A new t-shirt depicting the design is now available for sale at Vine Street Market (the mural site, 117 E. Vine) and The Write Impression, located nearby at 120 S. Maple St.
