Rutherford County Theatre News, October 2022

Happy Fall everyone!  As this spooky season rolls out, so do a ton of fun events for date nights, family outings, or a Halloween style evening on the town!

The Rutherford Arts Alliance is gearing up for the second annual Theatre Crawl on Friday, October 14th from 5 to 8 pm! This year at the Historic Oaklands Mansion, the Theatre Crawl takes on an excited energy as we host eight Rutherford County Theatre troupes in a night of performing arts. The Crawl will feature two local food trucks, “I Take It” BBQ and “Grady’s” classic carnival treats. Sit on the lawn with a bottle of wine and listen to live music before heading on a spooky tour of the mansion as each theatre troupe performs ghostly scenes from room to room. Don’t forget to come in costume and bring your candy buckets to collect treats along the way! This is a pay what you can, family friendly event. We hope to see you there October 14th!  Rutherford County Theatre Crawl

CFTA takes on the wacky and beloved classic, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” this October 7th-14th. Director Keri Boe is sure to bring this R rated classic to life with flying colors, so don’t miss this once-a-year chance to scream iconic call-backs to the cast onstage! You will also find CFTA performing a throwback at this year's Theatre Crawl. All this and more can be found on their website: Center for The Arts

Ghost Light Studio is taking us back to the ranch November 5th with the return of their hilarious dark comedy “Twisted Ranch”. Come enjoy dinner and a show as you watch this 80’s nostalgic Murder Mystery unfold right before your dinner table.
