Theatre Arts Blog: May 2021

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to take a little bit of time to talk about what’s going on in the theatre community right here in Rutherford County. Despite the Pandemic, many of the theatre groups have been hard at work, producing online and streaming content to entertain and provide comfort for our community during these strange times. With vaccines becoming more readily available and places starting to open back up, it might just be the right time to head back to our community theaters and support your local thespians! Here’s what’s going on in the next couple of weeks:

This weekend, This Might Work Productions brings us a virtual performance of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on May 2nd at 7:30pm CST! The performance is free to watch, and features some of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County’s finest actors. See the link below to watch the show:

Newest theatre troupe Bravo Boro is bringing us back to the Old West with their production of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence on May 14th! Get your tickets at BravoBoro.com!
