"Making art is actually, factually, good for the body, mind and soul,"
writes reporter Priscilla Clark in this article about a Drexel University study. That study found that just 45 minutes of creative activity lessens stress in the body, regardless of your level of artistic experience or talent. In the rapidly changing world of coronavirus, we all need to remind ourselves that creative activities are an important part of wellness.
During this time of social distancing, the Rutherford Arts Alliance wants to help you stay home and stay inspired! We’ll be posting a series of online events, resources, virtual tours, and more, often with a Rutherford County connection. If you have an online resource you personally cultivate or highly recommend, let us know with an email or message on social media, and we'll add it to the list to share.
Follow our series on our Facebook or Instagram accounts, or share your own creativity with #stayhomeandstayinspired and #makeartbewell.
