Join us in June

Our Facebook Live event will feature speaker Kara Kemp of The Bloom Stage.

Kemp is a storyteller, life coach, and founder and producer of The Bloom Stage, a quarterly multi-genre show centered on storytelling. She’ll be sharing her insight into the collaborative process, performing a brief storytelling demonstration, and giving us tips on how to tap into the power of our own stories, both personal and organizational, for better connection, reaching goals, healing, and more.

Kemp says, “I'm a firm believer that digging into your stories moves you through your fears and lands you squarely in the middle of your badassery.” Learn more at karajkemp.org.

In the latter part of the meeting, we will have an Alliance update and the opportunity for attendees to share your arts-related announcements.

We’ll be streaming this meeting on Facebook Live through our page at https://www.facebook.com/rucoartstn/. Although it’s not required to watch the event, please “Like” our page!

Thanks to the Walnut House for providing the stage and production assistance in making this meeting possible.

Member meetings are usually held on the second Tuesday of the month and are free and open to the public. Why not bring a friend? We make an effort to hold meetings at different times of day and at different locations across Rutherford County to accommodate as many people as we can. We also want to showcase the breadth and depth of cultural heritage resources available.

If you would like to host a meeting later in 2020, please let us know. The facility should be able to fit 50-60 people.
