Science is infusing our local art scene in October! Do a little time warping with us as we delay our monthly meeting and transform it into a Tennessee STEAM Festival event! We’ll be meeting at the Murfreesboro City Hall Rotunda for the artists reception of The Science of Creativity Exhibit.
Come view the work of about a dozen local artists in this juried exhibition, celebrate the award winners, catch up on RAA news, and share your own local arts updates.
A Best of Show award will receive $300. Four Honorable Mentions will also be awarded. This is the 3rd annual Collaborative Arts Exhibition involving the Rutherford Arts Alliance, the City of Murfreesboro, and Cultural Arts Murfreesboro.
The reception is 5:00 to 7:00; the meeting and awards will be approximately 5:15 to 5:45. We plan a livestream of the meeting AND viewing of the art - more details to come!

Covid-19 precautions
The RAA is following local and federal guidelines for health safety for all in-person events. Our host venue's health protocols may also influence recommendations for a specific meeting. We encourage the practice of social distancing and mask wearing for the unvaccinated, and for everyone during periods of locally substantial transmission of COVID-19.
We are continually monitoring local health data. Should the need arise to cancel an event, or to adjust from in-person to online, we will communicate any changes as soon as possible, first on social media, then on our website. Thank you for your understanding.
