Join the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta's next 2022-2023 season concert entitled “From the New World.” The concert, on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 3:00 pm at MTSU School of Music’s Hinton Hall, will feature Antonin Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 and the world premieres of the three winners of the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta’s 2023 Composition Competition.
Admission is free and open to the public. This concert is sponsored in part by the Rutherford County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
About the Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta
The Middle Tennessee Sinfonietta is a volunteer orchestra that is dedicated to bringing musical and artistic experiences to the Middle Tennessee area. The orchestra was founded in January 2021 by current Music Director, Jeffrey Keever, with a mission of musical and artistic awareness and collaborative affairs. Starting in the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the orchestra has continued to grow and evolve into an established volunteer orchestra that is known throughout the area for its continued efforts for artistic and musical explorations.
About the venue and parking
Hinton Hall is located at 1439 Faulkinberry Dr. on the MTSU campus. There is plenty of free parking in the area of the venue.
