The RAA’s next county-wide literary arts interest group meeting is planned for Tuesday, June 22, at 11:30 AM at Oaklands Park Pavilion. Anyone interested in literature and literacy in Rutherford County is invited to attend.
Please feel free to bring your own lunch. We have the pavilion from 11:00 to 1:00, so although we'll hold the official meeting to an hour, you're welcome to come a bit early or stay a bit late to chat!
Our meeting will include:
an update on local kidlit conversations since our last meeting,
identifying next steps in our efforts to better connect all of our literary/literacy interests - such as a common calendar, a registry of writers, etc.
hearing from YOU and/or the group you represent about your latest lit news!
The park pavilion is located off Roberts St. between Maney Ave. and Highland Ave. Parking is right beside the pavilion, NOT at the historic house.
