Join artist Lisa Sims for an afternoon of color mixing and color theory. All levels, including beginners, welcome!

The goal of this RAA-sponsored class is to familiarize each student and make them comfortable with the mixing of color. This class will establish the framework for further developing an understanding of color value and temperature or tone. We will also reinforce the traditional fundamentals of color theory and limited color palette’s. This will be a fun relaxed atmosphere. All materials will be provided.

Lisa Sims is a professional portrait artist. Among her influential instructors are renowned artist Alan Le`Quire. She has been most influenced by the instruction of Dawn Whitelaw, David Lefel, author of 'Oil Painting Secrets From A Master,’ and Russian trained artist Vitality Shtanko, drawing and painting professor at the Florence Academy of Art. Lisa studied in Florence Italy the summer of 2015, at the Florence Academy of Art, with Russian trained Professor Vitaliy Shtanko.
