"StoryVision" is a transformative workshop designed for artists of all levels! In this workshop, we embark on a journey to uncover the potent influence of narratives and perspectives on our artistic endeavors. Whether you're a seasoned creator or just starting on your artistic path, join us as we delve into the intersection of storytelling and vision.

This 90 minute workshop, free to members or with your new RAA membership, will guide you through practical strategies and immersive exercises to learn how to craft narratives that align with your artistic vision, enhance communication of your talents, and leave a lasting impact on your audience.

About our workshop leader

Kara J. Kemp is a dynamic individual celebrated for fostering collaboration and connection through her versatile skills in storytelling, coaching, and community engagement. With a profound passion for creativity and innovation, Kara employs a whole-brain approach in her performance coaching, catering to businesses and individuals at various stages in their careers. Currently the Murfreesboro Performing Arts Laureate, she co-creates and produces the Bloom Stage, a multi-genre art series, and the nationally acclaimed United We Style storytelling fundraising event.

About the venue and parking

The Technology Engagement Center, a branch of the Rutherford County Library System, is located at 306 Minerva Drive in Murfreesboro. There is plenty of free parking near the building.

The workshop is free to current RAA members or $25 for nonmembers, which includes your RAA membership for a year! If you want to go ahead and join or renew your membership, you can do that here on our site.
